The Ministry of Finance has published the notice on the beginning of public consultation on the Draft alternative investment funds law, in preparation of which the Securities Commission actively participated. The consultation on the Draft will be open for feedback from 29 March until 17 April 2019.
The Draft alternative investment funds law was prepared by a working group comprising representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, National Bank of Serbia, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Office of the Minister without portfolio responsible for innovation and technological development, Prime Minister's Office, Securities Commission, Tax Administration, Belgrade Stock Exchange, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Serbian Bank Association, Foreign Investor Council and USAID.
The Draft and the description of how the public can provide their input and feedback are published in Serbian on the website of the Ministry of Finance and on the E-Government Portal.
