The Securities Commission adopted bylaws implementing the Law on Commodity Exchanges: the Rulebook on the required content of the rules of operations of commodity exchanges and the Rulebook on authorization, trading and supervision of commodity exchanges. The bylaws were published in the Official Gazette of RS, No 8/2020, on 31 January 2020.
The application of the Law on Commodity Exchanges (published in the Official Gazette of RS, No 52/2019, came into force on 30 July 2019) will commence on 1 May 2020. The Securities Commission was designated as a regulatory authority to supervise the implementation of this Law and to adopt bylaws for its implementation.
