On 16 January 2026, representatives of the Securities Commission participated in the conference “The Role of Lawyers in the Development of Financial Markets”, organised by ELSA Belgrade and the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade.
On that occasion, the regulator highlighted the importance of enhancing financial literacy and continuous education in the field of capital markets, particularly with regard to understanding long-term investing and investment opportunities both in the capital market and in the digital assets market. Within the discussion, the role of the legal profession in ensuring legal certainty, protecting investors’ interests, and creating conditions for the further development of financial markets in the Republic of Serbia was also emphasised.
