On March 11, 2026, the Securities Commission held a workshop dedicated to the preparation of several rulebooks under the Capital Market Law, led by Mr. Pierre Matek, the appointed project expert.
Considering the planned further alignment of domestic legislation with EU law in the field of financial services (Chapter 9), the Commission organized this workshop with the support of the PLAC IV project and initiated the drafting of several rulebooks to be adopted by the Commission.
The objective of this segment of the project work is primarily to align the rulebooks with relevant EU regulations, in order to enable more efficient functioning of the Commission and to foster further growth of market participants.
In addition to the Commission’s management and professional staff, the workshop was attended by project representatives and representatives of the Ministry of Finance.
