Third-year students of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, who are attending lectures on Financial Markets during the spring semester, visited the Securities Commission. The visit was organized on March 27, 2024, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Faculty of Law and the Commission on October 9, 2023.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the historical development, responsibilities, and practices of the Commission, as well as to gain insight into and better understand the importance of the Commission's work for the functioning and development of domestic financial markets. Additionally, students received information about professional exams organized by the Commission, as well as opportunities for student internships.
The aim of such activities is to educate future law graduates who will not only possess a basic understanding of capital markets but will also be familiar with the key roles and significance of the Commission in this field. This approach will enable future legal professionals to contribute to the regulation and development of capital markets. Special emphasis is placed on a deeper understanding of financial instruments, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards necessary for successful management and supervision of capital markets.
