The Securities Commission informs obligated entities that, as of 1 October 2025, the new Law on the Central Register of Beneficial Owners (“Official Gazette of the RS”, Nos. 19/2025, 51/2025 and 60/2025 – corr.) will enter into application. Among other things, this Law prescribes the actions to be taken by obligated entities in cases of discrepancies in beneficial ownership data (in accordance with Article 16 of the said Law).
In order to ensure full access to data in the CRBO system and to enable the recording of such discrepancies, obligated entities are required to submit a request to the Business Registers Agency for the assignment of special rights to their user account. The request is submitted electronically to stvarnovlasnistvo@apr.gov.rs and must be accompanied by an authorization in electronic form, signed with the qualified electronic signature of the legal representative. The authorization should, among other elements, include information about the obligated entity and the user accounts for which the role of “Obligated Entity” needs to be assigned.
